including the American Cancer Society, Wissahickon Valley and Highlands Historical Societies, and St. Anthony pastoral council. She serves on the boards of the Ambler Theater, Ambler Food Co-op, and the Community Advisory Group, as well as alternate for the Ambler Borough Civil Service Commission, and Ambler Revitalization and Redevelopment Committee. She previously held the elected position of Ambler Tax Collector for twelve years, so she is highly experienced and qualified to serve the borough once again.

Bernadette is on the ballot for both mayor and tax collector in Ambler, giving residents a choice versus the incumbent candidates. For either role she would effectively represent the borough, bringing strong communication skills and extensive experience working with the borough’s staff and elected officials. As mayor she would be committed to open, transparent communication, prioritizing public safety, and working to build consensus around borough priorities. As tax collector, she would support ensuring ease of access to tax-related information, ability to pay in person, and support to all residents as needed.
