About Eric Holmquist

Eric and his wife have lived in Lower Gwynedd for almost twenty years. They have two grown, married children and one amazing grandson. Eric graduated Summa Cum Laude from Villanova University and has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. During this time, he has worked in staff and leadership positions in various financial institutions, including as Chief Risk Officer for a super-regional community bank, and has led a number of national risk management advisory practices. He has advised companies ranging from de novo startups to large multinational firms. He currently owns and operates a business providing risk management consulting, content, training, and tools along with a globally recognized content channel and podcast.

Throughout his career as business executive and advisor, Eric has helped develop strategic plans, managed large teams and budgets, developed new business, and guided organizations of every size and shape develop best in class risk management programs. He brings exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills, and is an award-winning author and industry speaker. He is exceptional at working collaboratively with diverse groups of leaders to find common solutions to complex challenges. All of these skillsets and experiences represent the qualities needed to be an effective township supervisor.

Eric recognizes that even a smaller township like Lower Gwynedd needs to be diligent in managing its budget and fiscal priorities. It needs to be open and transparent with the community, understanding the needs of the residents and working together to support programs and initiatives that will improve the lives of every resident. And yet, what we consistently see from the current all-Democrat Board of Supervisors is mis-guided priorities, fiscal irresponsibility, a lack of transparency, and ongoing hostility to any organization that does not align with their political ideology. Almost half of the township has no party representation in the township, representatives that can stand up to overdevelopment, help protect open and natural spaces, ensure that municipal services are always there for the citizens, and promote active, transparent communication. Eric is committed to working with the township staff and leadership, committee members, residents and business, and community leaders to ensure that the township is well-managed and meeting the needs of Lower Gwynedd.
